A non-profit organization needed a better way to support onboarding their foster family volunteers. The goal was to deliver consistent, engaging information in a format that was easy to access, understand, and share.
Existing process relied on setting up individual meetings, making onboarding time-consuming and inconsistent. Significant volunteer time was used to repeatedly communicate the same information, and sometimes new volunteers missed their onboarding sessions.
Produced all required content start to finish. Began by outlining content, designing deck theme, and writing script.
Created six videos, each less than 10 minutes long, accessible to foster family volunteers via a private YouTube playlist.
The completed video series provides a polished, repeatable orientation tool that saves incredibly limited staff time and improves audience understanding.
The organization now has a scalable resource that ensures consistent messaging for their volunteers.
The success of this project came from focused simplification. By focusing on what the audience needed to know and presenting it clearly and consistently, the videos became more engaging, effective, and easy to reuse long-term.
